What data we collect and why

This website has no forms or user accounts. We only receive your data (name, phone number, email address, details of your enquiry) when you call or write to us. We use it solely to reply, prepare an offer and handle your booking. With your consent, we also collect data on how you use the website (such as the pages you visit, your device type and approximate location) using the Google tools described in the cookies section.

We process your data under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request before entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling enquiries).

Bookings via Booking.com

Room bookings made through Booking.com take place on that website, which has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as necessary to reply and provide the service, and then for the limitation period for any possible claims.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict its processing, to data portability and to object. You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) or with the data protection authority in your country. To exercise your rights, write to cukrovnia@onet.pl.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them in three categories on this website. We only store analytics and marketing cookies after you give your consent in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before.

  • Necessary: remember your cookie choice (browser storage, key cvConsent, up to 12 months). Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). They help us understand the number of visits, traffic sources and the most viewed pages. Cookies _ga and _ga_* are stored for up to 2 years. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Marketing: Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited). They are used to measure the effectiveness of ads and to personalise them. Cookies include _gcl_au, stored for up to 90 days. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Until you give consent, we use Google Consent Mode, in which Google does not store analytics or advertising cookies and only receives anonymous signals without identifiers. Data processed by Google services may be transferred outside the European Economic Area on the basis of standard contractual clauses and the European Commission decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may make the website harder to use.

Our fonts are hosted locally, with no connections to external font servers. Links to maps and third-party services (such as Google Maps, Facebook and Booking.com) lead to websites that have their own privacy policies and their own cookies.
